{"id":2183,"date":"2023-05-25T10:21:45","date_gmt":"2023-05-25T01:21:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hommamuseum-en.com\/?p=2183"},"modified":"2023-06-22T16:44:31","modified_gmt":"2023-06-22T07:44:31","slug":"annan-blue-and-white-water-jar-with-tiger-and-dragon-designs-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hommamuseum-en.com\/?p=2183","title":{"rendered":"Annan Blue-and-white Water Jar with Tiger and Dragon Designs\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>17<sup>th<\/sup> century (Vietnam)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tangible Cultural Property, designated by Yamagata Prefecture<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Donated by the Homma family<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This water jar is thought to have been fired in the 17<sup>th<\/sup> century at the B\u00e1t Tr\u00e0ng kilns near Hanoi, northern Vietnam.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beneath the pale green glaze that covers the entire jar are dragon, tiger and cloud patterns in underglaze cobalt blue. The soft, blurry line work is characteristic of Annan blue-and-white\u2019s brush-painted designs.
