{"id":2189,"date":"2023-05-25T10:24:27","date_gmt":"2023-05-25T01:24:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hommamuseum-en.com\/?p=2189"},"modified":"2023-06-22T17:51:08","modified_gmt":"2023-06-22T08:51:08","slug":"yuikai-final-verses-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hommamuseum-en.com\/?p=2189","title":{"rendered":"Final verses"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Bucch\u014d Osh\u014d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1715 (Sh\u014dtoku 5)&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tangible Cultural Property, designated by Yamagata Prefecture<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Donated by the Homma family<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Perhaps best known as the poet Matsuo Bash\u014d\u2019s Zen master, the monk Bucch\u014d Osh\u014d (1642\u20131715) founded Fukugawa Rinsenji Temple, and lived at Unganji Temple in Otawara City, Tochigi Prefecture.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Addressed to his disciples, this is the final note Osh\u014d wrote on his deathbed aged 74, on 28 December 1715 (Sh\u014dtoku 5).
