After graduating from Sakata Higashi High School, he moved to the capital of T\u014dky\u014d in 1957, studying at the Aoyama Painting Research Center. Continuing to do active material research in Europe, mainly in France and Spain, he put on numerous private exhibitions. He was later selected for the 1981 Nichiy\u014d-kai Exhibition, and went on to receive awards at the Shiny\u014dgakai Exhibition and Ueno Royal Museum Grand Prize Exhibition.
