Yang Jin (1644–1728), who went by the art name Xi Ting, collaborated with his master Wang Hui on the ambitious The Kangxi Emperor’s Southern Inspection Tour series of scrolls at the request of the Kangxi Emperor and also reproduced many old paintings from the imperial collection.

Poetic inscription:

楊花僥屋白如雪

渓水出湖青棲天

趙令穣 意

Translation

Willow flower, white as snow

Water flowing from the lake as blue as the sky above

This poetic inscription was written by Zhao Lingrang, a Southern School painter of the Northern Song dynasty.
